The Mila Murano Glass Vase is wonderfully handcrafted using the Sommerso glass-making technique. The vase consists of three layers of glass - known as coperte or covers. The initial vibrant red coloured parison is submerged in a second grey layer of coloured glass before being immersed in an outer layer of transparent glass. After a cooling period of 24 hours the Mila Murano Glass Vase is exquisitely ground and polished by a member of the master glass blowers team.
